Sandakozhi 2 starring Vishal and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles is directed by Lingusamy. The film is a sequel to 2015 hit Sandakozhi. The trailer of the film was released recently and has received good response from the audience.

Vishal who is producing the films under his home banner Vishal Film Factory is planning to release the film on September 18 for Vinayaga Chaturthi weekend. The film shooting is yet to be wrapped. About 40 days of shoot is left to complete the entire film. 

Keerthy Suresh plays the leading lady and has a pivotal role in the film. Raj Kiran, Varalakshmi play supporting cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music.
