Prabhas became a raging superstar after Baahubali, in which he played the titular role. After the stupendous success of 'Baahubali-2', Prabhas has become a global icon. The actor is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Saaho. Sahoo is directed by by Sujeeth of 'Run Raja Run' fame. Shraddha Kapoor plays the leading lady.

Saaho is one of the prestigious projects in Prabhas' career after Baahubali. Following the huge success of Baahubali in North, producer Bhushan Kumar of TSeries has bagged the Hindi distribtuion rights of Sahoo. Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has joined hands with UV Creations, a leading production house in the South, to present the film in the markets up North.

Bhushan Kumar said to a leading daily, “The universality of 'Saaho' is what appealed to me. While Prabhas is a pan India star, the film’s content and its treatment will give it a global appeal. It is an exciting collaboration and we are looking forward to present the film to our Hindi audience.” 

The film also has an ensemble cast comprising Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunky Pandey. The team is currently shooting an high octane action sequence in UAE. Saaho is expected to hit the screens next year.
