The makers of Ranveer's upcoming film Simmba have roped in Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan as the leading lady. Earlier there were reports stating that Alia Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor will be the leading lady of Ranveer Singh. It's finally Sara Ali Khan who has bagged the role opposite Ranveer Singh.

Ranveer Singh is set to play a badass cop in Simmba directed by Rohit Shetty. The film touted to be an action entertainer will hit the screens on December 28, 2018. It is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film may be loosely based on Jr NTR-starrer Temper. Rohit has also acquired the rights of the same. However, he insisted that the film was not a remake, but fans will only see a few scenes from the South film incorporated in the film. 

Sara Ali Khan has made her debut in Bollywood with Kedarnath where she stars opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
