2.0 Making video released after Teaser leak & industry outrage : Twitter has this to say

PUBLISHED DATE | 05/Mar/2018

The Shankar directed 2.0 had incited an industry-wide outrage after a video clipping of the movie's teaser screening made it to online circulation. It all started when the movie's rough draft of a teaser was screened for the guests of Lyca's founder and chief, Allirajah Subaskaran's private birthday party and a mobile capture of the same was leaked for public view. Soundarya Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal and singer Sathya Prakash were the among the ones to express their displeasure on the leak, the links of which were disabled later with the help of internet's piracy policies.

2.0 is the second film of Rajinikanth's (after Kaala) to have a teaser leak in the bygone week. Though unlike for Kaala where Wunderbar Films was able to release the official teaser ahead of the planned schedule, the makers of  2.0 were only equipped to unveil a 'making video' post the leak, as VFX and design works are still a work-in-process for the teaser video itself.

The almost 6 minute long making video features director Shankar and his crew giving us an insight into the making of the film. Watch the video here :

As the damage control was taken care of, Twitter had some fan-relatable reactions that caught our eye, some of which can be found below :
