Actor Jai has a busy year lined up with Sundar.C's Kalakalappu 2 gearing up for a release and Venkat Prabhu directed Party and Nithin Sathya produced Jarugandi in the pipleline. Added to this, the actor whose Balloon opened to mixed reviews last year, will be seen in a film to be directed by debutants Syam and Praveen. Interestingly, the movie is titled after the famous A.R. Rahman song from Alaipayuthey, Mangalyam Thanthu Na Ne Na.
 
Touted to be a romantic entertainer, Mangakyam Thanthu Na Ne Na is said to about how the marriage of two enemies changes their lives. While the team is yet to finalize a leading lady, those on board include actors Delna Davis and Daniel Pope in important roles and Jimikki Kammal composer Shan Rahman for the music.
