A.R. Rahman, Keerthy Suresh confirmed for Vijay 62

Thalapathy 62, (working title of Vijay's 62nd film) was last rumoured to have A.R. Rahman on board and taking to their social media account today, producers Sun Pictures confirmed the same. Additionally, they also announced that actress Keerthy Suresh will be playing the female lead of this film. While Keerthy Suresh is teaming up with Vijay for the second time (after Bairavaa), this will be the second consecutive team up for A.R. Rahman and Vijay post their successful combination in Mersal.

Vijay 62, an AR Murugadoss directorial  is expected to on floors after Pongal (most probably on Jan 19) and wrap shooting in 6 months. The confirmed cast and crew of the film also includes comedian Yogi Babu , cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, editor Sreekar Prasad and production designer T. Santhanam. The internet is currently going berserk over the leaked photos of the lead from the film's photo-shoot.
