Quick highlights from the 2.0 audio launch

The most awaited audio launch of Shankar's 2.0 with Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar was held at Burj Park yesterday. Like we reported earlier, this is the first ever movie to have its audio launched in Burj Khalifa with only the LEDs costing around 2 crore. Rahman along with the Macedonian Symphony Orchestra performed 3 songs including the one written by the late Na. Muthukumar. As you read further, more highlights from the event await you.

When Isaipuyal A. R. Rahman was asked about his journey with Shankar since Gentleman, he said that the director is still tough yet jovial, quality focused and always strives to be ahead of everyone. He further added that their works inspire each other and that inspiration is mutual. Shankar pointed 'Irumbile oru Irudhayam' to be the toughest he has ever scripted as it is a duet between a robot and a girl, but Rahman kept surprising him with new sounds.

When it was Rajinikanth's turn, he advised the new generation not to forget the culture and tradition in order to enjoy the life. He also insisted not to insult or hurt any movie on social media even if it is an average craft, but to encourage the good ones and good artists. Taking over the conversation, Shankar praised Rajinikanth for the efforts that he had put in for the movie in spite of the ill health and poor weather conditions during the shoots.
