Santhanam hospitalized after a fight with builder

Hero turned comedian Santhanam was hospitalized recently, after a fight with a builder named Shanmugasundaram at Valasaravakkam.

According to the reports, the actor had given the builder a sum to construct a shopping complex in Kundrathur. In a few days, the deal seemed to be closed due to unknown reasons. Santhanam wanted back his money since then. But the dealer kept dodging the actor for quite some time, after which the latter visited the dealer's office with his manager. Sources reveal that a heated argument escalated into a fight and both were later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Reports say that the builder belongs to BJP and both the parties then filed a complaint in the nearby police station.
