AR Rahman roped in for PT Usha biopic

After scoring the tunes for cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's biopic film, International award winning composer AR Rahman has now been confirmed to compose music for Indian athlete P.T. Usha's biopic movie. The movie which is still in the process of its casting, will be directed by Revathy Varma, whom we know down south as the director of Jyothika - Saritha starrer June R. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is said to be the front-runner for playing P.T. Usha and given that she did an excellent job in Mary Kom (biopic of boxer Mary Kom), we believe if on-board, she could pull this role off with ease.
