Salman Khan's 'Sultan' is the most tweeted hashtag in India

Salman Khan starrer Sultan is one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood. Celebrating the 10th birthday of 'hashtags', Twitter is celebrating with a special emoji. Twitter India has released the name of the movie that was most tweeted in 2016. #Sultan is the Most Tweeted Hashtag of all time in India. 'And the most Tweeted movie hashtag in India is @yrf film#Sultan!,' confirms Twitter India.

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan made over 500 crores at the box office. Sultan was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman Khan’s next, Tiger Zinda Hai, is also directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who is replacing Kabir Khan as the director for the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger. It’s all set to release on Christmas 2017.
