Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' shoot to wrap in October

Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh starrer Padmavati, which is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is all set to be wrapped up by October 20.

According to TOI reports, the shoot for the film was delayed due to attacks on the sets and accusations of incorrect portrayals of characters. Currently, the schedule is going as planned and it appears the team will complete it’s shoot in time for the November release.

Deepika Padukone plays the titular character of Rani Padmini, while Shahid Kapoor will be playing her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Ranveer Singh will essay the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Apart from the above actors, the movie will also feature actress Aditi Rao Hydari as Ranveer’s wife. The movie is scheduled to release on November 17, 2017.
