Exclusive - Latest updates on Arya-Ameer 's Santhana Devan

While director Ameer made news for playing a gangster in Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai recently, new updates have emerged about his own directorial venture Santhana Devan. The movie which is said to be a village based story and borders on the topic of Jallikattu has completed 30 % of its shooting portions. The team will next be seen shooting at Madurai with art director Vijay Murugan taking care of the production designs. 

Featuring Arya and his brother Sathya in the lead, Santhana Devan has Aditi who featured in the Tamil film Pattadhari in 2016 and Telugu actress Kruthika Jayakumar as the female leads. Director of the film Ameer, will also be seen acting alongside this cast. Produced under Ameer Film Company, the film has Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music, Irudhi Suttru fame Sukumar Vijayan for cinematography and S.P. Ahmed for the edits.
