Deepika Padukone paid Rs. 12 crore for 'Padmavati'?

Deepika Padukone is rumoured to be getting a whopping Rs. 12 crore for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Padmavati’.

According to Mid-Day, Deepika Padukone has devoted an entire year to the epic drama, which could justify the hefty fee. If Deepika Padukone is getting that sort of moolah, it will be interesting to see what co-stars, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have agreed on.

Deepika Padukone has had much success recently with her debut Hollywood film ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’ proving a success at the box office.

'Padmavati' starring Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone is set to release on November 17.
