Just three days before the fourth anniversary of 26/11 attacks and 2 days after the hanging of Kasab, Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma held a special 7 minute screening of his soon-to be released film, "The Attacks of 26/11". The screening was well received by media, officials and family members of slained victims.

 

Immediately after the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai, Ram Gopal Varma accompanied ex-chief minister of Maharashtra late Vilasrao Deshmukh and actor Rietish Deshmukh (Genelia's husband) to see the aftermaths of Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Colaba. This led to public and media outrage for lack of sensitivity. The movie is expected to be a realistic account of 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008.
