We had reported about a release slot change (read about it here) for Ajith Kumar's highly anticipated 57th movie Vivegam. Latest buzz in the industry is that the team might have zeroed in on the date as well. Reportedly, the makers are planning to release the movie on August 10, 2017, keeping with the unsaid tradition of 10th day release of every Ajith-Siva (director) movie. [Veeram was released on January 10, 2014 and Vedalam was released on November 10, 2015].

The movie's last schedule of shooting is all set to begin from March 16, 2017. This schedule is to take place at Bulgaria and is expected to go on for a period of 40-50 days. Vivegam has also been in the news for the pre-release negotiations for its distribution rights. Trade experts believe that the price quoted for this Ajith starrer is as big as 50 crores. 

Also starring Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan, the movie has Anirudh Ravichander for music and has been produced by T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films.
