Sivakarthikeyan- Nayanthaara starrer Velaikkaran to release its first look

Actor Sivakarthikeyan's movie with director Mohan Raja which began shooting late last year, is gearing up for a first look release. Titled Velaikkaran (after a 1987, SP Muthuraman film featuring Rajinikanth) the movie will have its first look release on Labour's dat i.e. May 1, 2017. Touted be a complete entertainer, the film is said to revolve around the lead actor's fight against the subject of food adulteration.

Bankrolled under 24AM Studios, the movie has Nayanthara as the female lead and Anirudh Ravichander for the music. Also starring Sneha, Fahad Fassil, Prakash Raj, RJ Balaji, Satish and yesteryear actress Rohini, the movie is slated for a release during Vinayagar Chathurthi this year i.e. August 25, 2017.
