"V" for Vendetta Velayudham

Velayudham is Vijay's costliest film to date and the expectations are soaring high. The inevitable clash with 7am Arivu is firing up the fan base like never before. Let us see why Velayudham's team is confident about the prospects of the movie.

This is Jayam Raja's first movie outside of his family oriented remake movies and he took almost 8 months to sculpt the script before he narrated it to Vijay. Raja acknowledges that Velayudham is an inspiration of Telugu Hit movie "Azaad". But, the screenplay is written fresh to suit Vijay and current audience taste. Director Raja claims that "Velayudham will be a sensible commercial film about a superhero who is real". 

Velayudham has 30 comedians including Santhanam, who lead the front. The movie has 3 important women lead characters in Genelia, Hansika and Saranya Mohan playing important roles in moving the story forward while providing the necessary entertainment. The dialogues are written by the successful writer duos, Subha, of 'Ko', 'Ayan' and 'Maattrraan' fame. Tom Delmar, the stunt co-ordinator known for his work in 'Braveheart', has done a risky train sequence, which is expected to be a highlight of the movie.

With all the right ingredients for commercial potboiler, no wonder Velayudham team says CHILLAXXX...
