AamirKhan reveals that 'Thugs of Hindostan' is a Period Film

Aamir Khan recently launched the trailer of Advait Chandan’s ‘Secret Superstar’ in which he’ll be seen in a cameo. During the launch event, Aamir Khan also revealed the plot for his next film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which will see him share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time.

Box Office Capsule reports that Khan spoke about ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ being a period film with a story that revolves around a gang that created havoc for the British before Indian independence.

“I am thrilled that I am working with Mr Bachchan in Thugs of Hindostan. I have always wanted to work with him. It was my dream. We shall start shooting in March 2017,” 

Thugs of Hindostan will be directed by Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya. It is being produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films. Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be sharing screen space for the first time in Thugs of Hindostan which makes Thugs Of Hindostan the most awaited film of 2018. Thugs of Hindostan is slated to release on Diwali 2018.
