MovieCrow Box Office Report - November 24 to 27  

Jiiva's Kavalai Vendam, directed by Deekay, was the only notable release last weekend. Check out the box office ranking of Tamil movies in Chennai during last weekend.

1. Kavalai Vendam

The movie opened to mixed reviews, with a section of the audience lauding it as a fun watch, while others blaming it for the derogatory double entendres. In spite of the 4-day opening, the movie couldn't manage to attract audience in large numbers.

2. Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada

STR - Gautham Menon's AYM went from strength to strength last weekend as it managed to retain most of the screens and the occupancy levels across multiplexes were also impressive.

3. Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru

Last week's release, KIK, directed by Rajesh and starring GV Prakash and RJ Balaji in the lead, lost a majority of screens due to negative reviews and constantly diminishing support from the audience.

Other Movies

Kaashmora and Kodi were running across a few screens with limited occupancy levels.

Upcoming week's releases

Director Suseenthiran's Maaveeran Kittu and Sasikumar's Saithan will be hitting the screens this weekend.
