Karthi's Kaashmora at par with Baahubali and 300 - Rajsekar Pandian 

The media got their hands on some Kaashmora trivia as the entire cast and crew were assembled under one roof for their audio launch and trailer release. Speaking on the movie, the core team including the director, the lead actors and the producer shared a lot of interesting information. So here's a list on what was shared from the memory lane of the making.

1. Gokul said that the title Kashmora is inspired from a novel that director read years ago. Since he found the name mysterious and intriguing, he decided to use it for the movie.
2. The director also revealed that he had not planned on the genre of the movie and that the improvisations on his original writing let the script travel from one genre to another.
3. He went on to say that the editors of the movie worked 24 hours like an emergency ward in making the movie crisp.
4. He further added that the movie has 97 minutes of CG (Computer Graphics) shots which sum up to a total of 2000 and that he had to seek out help from 25 VFX and CG companies to bring those 2000 shots into life within the stipulated time.
5. Speaking about his experience lead actor Karthi said that the grandeur of the huge sets erected by Rajeevan would often overwhelm him put him in a state of constant fear while shooting.
6. Talking on the 3D Face Scan Technology that has been used, Gokul said that it has been used for Karthi's stunts to make him look natural. He also thanked Karthi for putting in the hard-work for carrying outfits weighing as much as 25 kgs.
7. He said that the lead actress Nayanthara was the first choice for the role of Rathna Mahadevi, the warrior princess as it required someone who would could portray the majestic attitude, also adding that she was the producer SR Prabhu's pick.
8. Actress Sri Divya seemed excited about playing an out and out urban girl. This is also her first time in handling the humorous streak.
9. The press meet also saw Rajsekar Pandian of 2D Entertainment comparing the movie to the likes of Baahubali and 300.However, the lead actor Karthi categorically pointed out that since the budget of the movie was far less than that of Baahubali, with reference to historic movies, Kaashmora will always stand next to the S.S Rajamouli directorial.
