Ramya Krishnan to play an important role in Suriya's Thaana Serntha Kootam?

Director Vignesh Sivan hit gold when he signed on a movie with actor Suriya. Titled Thaana Serndha Koottam, this will be the director's first with a star of the top league. While rumours about Hansika playing the heroine were squished by the actress herself, a little birdie tells us that actress Ramya Krishnan (last seen in Baahubali as the Rajamatha) has been roped in to play a prominent role in the movie. What's interesting about the character is that it will have equal screen space as the lead in the film.

To be jointly produced under Studio Green Films and 2D Entertainment, Thaana Serndha Koottam is yet to finalise on the rest of the team.
