Mellisai and Aako Acquired by JSK Film Corporation

The theatrical rights of the much delayed Vijay Sethupathi starrer Mellisai have been sold to JSK Film Corporation (famous for producingParadesi ,Thangameengal). Directed by Ranjith Jeyakodi, Mellisai was originally composer Sam C.S.' debut movie. Though the movie was shot a while ago, the trailer was launched only recently with an expected audio launch anytime this month. A month from then will be followed by the movie's release which is touted to be a crime thriller.

Another much talked about yet delayed movie Aakko (acronym for Aarva Kolaru) has also been acquired by the same banner for distribution in theatres. Directed by M. Shyam Kumar, the movie made headlines because of Anirudh's debut screen appearance and his hit single from the movie "Enakenna Yaarum Illayae". Aako features newcomers Geethan Britto and Tulika Gupta in the lead with Arjunan and Lollusabha Swaminathan in supporting roles. The movie is believed to be a comic entertainer.
