Amala Paul to romance Dhanush?

Dhanush will be playing the lead in ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’ fame Sargunam’s next film titled ‘Sotta Vazhakutty’. Sotta Vazhakutty is a romantic comedy film set in the village backdrop. The title ‘Sotta Vazakutty’ means a charming boy. Sargunam is currently deciding on the cast and crew of the film and Amala Paul seem to be his choice for the female lead.

Amala Paul who was earlier paired opposite Dhanush in ‘3’ opted out due to unknown reasons. The duo may now work together in Sotta Vazakutty. Amala Paul has signed only one project in Tamil post the success of Vettai and KSY. The Vettai girl is cast opposite Jayam Ravi in Tamil Telugu bilingual Nimirndhu Nil directed by Samudrakani.

Dhanush is currently busy with two projects Anand L Rai’s ‘Raanjhnaa’ and Bharat Bala’s ‘Mariyaan’. Sotta Vazhakutty will go on floors in September. The film is produced by Kathiresan.
