Jai Gangaajal censored

Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal, which was stuck at the censor board, got a clearance on Saturday from the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal, which asked for only two minor changes.

According to reports, Censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani had demanded 11 cuts and had apparently threatened Jha that they would give the film an ‘A’ certificate if necessary. Changes however, were not made.

“There are just two cuts now. He (Nihalani) had asked for 11 cuts. Now, we have been allowed everything including the language. There are no objections,” Jha told PTI.

Priyanka Chopra plays the lead role in the movie. Film has been censored with U/A certificate. The film deals with the society between the police and society. The film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Prakash Jha. ‘Jai Gangaajal‘ is slated to release on 4th March 2016.
