Wazir Opening Weekend BoxOffice Collection

Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘Wazir’, which released on Friday (January 8) with mixed reviews, has shown an upward trend in its box office collections during the weekend. The film has minted Rs. 21.01 cr in its opening week.

Friday - Rs. 5.61 cr                                 

Saturday - Rs. 7.16 cr

Sunday - Rs. 8.24 cr

Total - Rs. 21.01 cr

The film has done good business at the overseas market as well and collected Rs. 10.48 cr in its opening weekend. Wazir features Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. Amitabh plays a role of an ailing chess master in Wazir. The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Wazir is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
