Jai Gangaajal Trailer Review – Engaging but revealed too much!

SP AbhaMathur (Priyanka Chopra) is transferred to Bankepur to restore the peace that is disrupted by the gunda MLA (ManavKaul) of the state and the corrupt police force! How she deals with the situation, given that she’s a women police officer is the main plot of the story.

Although it named Jai Gangaajal but is a fresh story altogether with no reference to the old one. The only thing common between the two films is the story of police officer and how he/she fights the gunda raj in the city and the corrupt policemwalas in his/her team. The trailer is engaging but I have a feeling that it will revealed too much of the story and people now have an idea as to what’s going to happen.

Along with direction, Prakash Jha makes his screen debut with this film and is perhaps the highlight of the trailer with the dialogue delivery and expressions. Priyanka Chopra comes back strongly after an average last year and looks super solid as the female cop. Even ManavKaul as the main baddie in the film promises to be brilliant.

The film releases in theater March 4^th next year. It will be interesting to see how the other promos turn out to be.
