Bairavaa Bairavaa

#Bairavaa never walked out of a theatre this deceived. Pure exasperation despite watching with vijay fans. Barathan who was suppose to recreate vijays commercial avatar has let him down by a landslide. Just toyed him around cluelessly. Despite having a good range of directors for commercial genres, vijay definitely made a poor selection to pick the best. Although the movie carried a thoughtful social message, the storytelling & screenplay has distorted the narration immensely making it a perfect yawner. Yet Vijay scored in his dialogues, body language & fights, while Santosh elevated his screen presence with well thrown bgm screamers. But no compromises for the displeasing music, it totally stained a commercial vijay film reputation. The prime issue completely lost its direction in the second half. Weak characterization and scope for the casts too. Could have avoided forceful sentiments & unnecessary sub-plots that was dragging the film to irrelevance & boredom. At 2h 50 min, It requires a lot of patience to sit through this average product which is why it'll will fall under the forgive and forget category. Although general audience deserved better, its a decent treat for vijay fans. 2/5
