MovieCrow had previously reported that Dhanush starrer Maaran which is scheduled to release directly on Disney Plus Hotstar, will be premiering on the OTT platform in March, 2022. Latest we hear the movie plans to release in the second week of that month. An official announcement on the release date is currently awaited.

Touted to be a thriller, Maaran is directed by Karthick Naren and the film will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The movie produced by Sathya Jyothi Films also stars Malavika Mohanan, Smruthi Venkat among others and has GV Prakash for music.
