The film is packaged perfectly with right mix of ingredients that works with Tamil mass audiences.

First half of the film is light and breezy while the second half is a deadly concoction of romance, comedy, revenge, twists and a bloody climax. The scenes inside the bus remind you of the recent film Attakathi, while the climax has traces of Subramaniapuram and Nadodigal.(more)

Sundarapandiyan is a well made commercial flick with right dose of comedy, sentiment and thrills. Go for it!

The film engages the viewer till the last scene with its clever screenplay. On the downside, nothing much except the 'Nadodigal' feel initially as the plot looks somewhat similar. Also the action sequences in the latter part of the film goes a bit overboard.(more)
