Passable stories that feel pointless together!
Scenes involving Thambi Ramaiah and MS Bhaskar stand out, while the rest are underwhelming. Sensitive topics discussed in the form of short stories, but fails in the process of trying so hard to link them all as one single story.(more)

A film that skewers everyone, including itself
The film does feel like it's lecturing you at times. Monologues explaining each story's thesis feel like the director doesn't trust us to connect the dots ourselves. The first two segments rely on mirror-image reversals that grow formulaic. Also, the slideshow-like animated voiceover segments need to stop. They tend to tell too much rather than show. At exactly two hours, Hotspot 2 Much moves briskly enough that none of this drags. Satish Raghunathan's music appears at just the right times. Think of it as a thriller, but with comedic jabs at everyone.(more)

Wild mix of hot and sour takes
Hot Spot 2 Much is that one friend who you occasionally hang out with, but then they start slipping their wild opinions into the conversation that youre not so sure about. You still nod and laugh, so they move on. Youre probably not making immediate plans to meet them again, but if they want to catch up later, you would still go just to hear what fresh wild takes they have. I guess we are seated for Hot Spot 3.(more)
