R Parthiban has returned with a bang.
The Movie begins with usual cop kind of story, but soon it takes lots of twists and gives a fresh feel. Also even the first half may look slower, the second half is pumped up. So R Parthiban who has released the movie with less competitions is sure to steal the audience by his narration style.(more)

Vithagan is Silly
In the hands of Parthiban, who exudes such smugness and uses plot-twists that make even Superman seem puny, Vithagan is the epitome of silliness. Watch only if you have nothing to do on a rainy afternoon--or if you need a few laughs.(more)

Vithagan, the gun could have been more sharp.
Second half is a complete antithesis of first half which is replete with logical loopholes, ambiguous characterization, many mindless killings sans rhyme or reason and distorted screen play. The film wobbles on to a goal less destination and you wonder what the director has in mind.(more)

The film makes some interesting observations but doesn't do it interestingly enough!
Parthepan is there is every scene and he carries the character of Rowdran in his own distinct style. But was there a need for that dream song or the last song where he shakes a leg with an item girl? Milind Soman as Badri who finally suffers from Delusional Disorder (!!) looks more like a caricature...(more)

Superhero act lacks conviction.
