A horror comedy filled with Ajith references and overused jokes
The tone of the film is intentionally over-the-top, but that isn't the problem. Thookudurai is not coherent in the way it tells the story. Everything's all over the place most of the time. The idea in itself is intriguing, but the story hasn't been translated well to the screen.(more)

Although the film�s one-liners didn�t land, the dialogue-less slapstick sequences at the anti-climax are the scenes that are capable of cracking one up.
