NNOR is a decent attempt at a comedy based emotional entertainer!
The idea, though seen previously in films like Goli Soda and Kadugu, is a safe option and has worked out towards the fag end. A watchable, fairly engaging ride provided by team NNOR with a few impactful emotional scenes towards the finish.(more)

An average comedy entertainer
Had the team spent more time on the technical department and rewritten the script a bit to suit the taste of the mainstream audiences, it would have been a well made satirical comedy entertainer. Not a fan of satires on Tamil YouTube world? Then, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja is not your cup of tea. (more)

With a bevy of artistes who are popular on social media, the movie has a decent story and a not-so-bad screenplay.
The chemistry between Rio and Vignesh is the prime positive aspect of the film, but the female lead character, essayed by Shirin Kanchwala, is underwritten, which makes the romantic track unnecessary and ineffective. The major issue with the film is that you feel like watching an extended version of some popular videos on YouTube.(more)

A lesson in shooting blanks
The film generated anticipation pre-release because it was a Sivakarthikeyan production, and because the actor-producer had a good debut with Kanaa. Despite the 'blah' feeling one may have walking out of the theatre, it appears that Nenjamundu... could still be a profitable venture for Sivakarthikeyan, thanks to its low production value.(more)

Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja is split into three tasks assigned to two good-for-nothing wastrels by a very rich man. The duo must complete all three to get a large sum of money from him. The first involves making it to prime time news, the second involves making a crazy person an MLA. The third? No, I do not want to spoil this wonderful film for you.(more)
