Quite long but intermittent laughs ensures a safe landing!!

he way you receive TP2 will depend a lot on what you expected out of it. If you enjoyed TP1 and have similar expectations, this film mostly does the trick. But the answer is completely different in case you are looking at how cleverly or inventively the spoofs have been done.(more)

Tamizh Padam 3, "I am Waiting"!

Tamizh Padam 2 has spoofs of many notable films and the audience will definitely enjoy the spoofs of Vedalam, Vivegam, Vikram Vedha, 24, Mersal, Thuppakki, Kabali, Aambala, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu, and many other films. The best thing about Tamizh Padam 2 are the casual references that come and go in many unexpected situations. Not just films, there are also some hilarious spoofs of Gautham Vasudev Menon's voice over narrations and Mysskin's style of filmmaking.(more)

Thamizh Padam 2 meets the overall expectations, thanks to the highly engaging performance by Shiva.

The length of the movie and a couple of songs are clear drawbacks which spoil the flow for sometime. An interesting flashback portion, too, becomes a little tiring after a while.(more)

This spoof forgives no one

While the film is a laugh riot, it lacks the freshness Tamizh Padam had. It works as a sequel because the films and themes they have picked are relatable. However, lack of freshness can reduce this franchise to a formula too.(more)

a laugh riot

Tamizh Padam 2 does get a little tiring towards the second half, especially during the historic flashback sequences that has reference to Baahubali big time. It's at that stage we have to keep playing match-the-following, connecting the scenes on screen to previous films we've seen similar sequences in. (more)
