Baahubali 2 is a masterfully made sequel which is grandly conceived, brilliantly executed and largely engaging

Baahubali is back with more grandness and emotions but with a slightly less engaging screenplay in the second half(more)

SS Rajamouli's epic drama evokes a sense of wonder

In his attempt to make India's biggest motion picture, Rajamouli has also given the audience a reason to be in awe of films, or rather his films. For that matter, no review would come close to explaining the high that one will experience throughout the film. It has to be experienced to be believed.(more)

Prabhas is the soul of the movie! Watch it !

Film made with sentiment sequences and heroism-elevating scenes. But the material also has many flaws, which will be noticed more once the dust settles down. Despite these flaws (weak romance/lengthy fights, tad predictable climax), the film gives total entertainment and reinforces Rajamouli's supremacy in telling stories with visual effects. (more)

SS Rajamouli's film is a lot more than just why Kattappa killed Baahubali

The film presents the old-as-time conflict between good and evil, the classic trope of mythology. But watch the film for the grandeur, the visuals and the performances, that have you cheering for Baahubali, much like the subjects of Mahishmati.(more)

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Movie Review

Indian cinephiles must salute Rajamouli for his vision and ambition. He once again gives us our Benhur and Ten Commandments experience rolled into one. Of course it is CGI and VFX that grab you in your seat, but Baahubali also takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. The romance between Devasena and Amarendra has the Titanic fervour. While the performances of the lead cast are all believable, it is Peter Heins actionwith Baahubali doing the Van Damme split and some sweeps that set your spirits soaring.(more)

Baahubali: The Conclusion Review

I love "Baahubali 2," partly because it never once felt like a soul-less, committee-assembled piece of art. Many American viewers may wonder how a film that received little to no media coverage could surpass "The Circle," a new studio-produced and distributed thriller starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, at the US box office. But you only have to see "Baahubali 2" to know why it enjoyed such a fantastic opening weekend. It's grandiose, and fun, and I pray there's a lot more where it came from.(more)

Only if Kattappa had killed Baahubali earlier

Baahubali The Beginning was enormously enjoyable. Baahubali The Conclusion comes to life only in bits and pieces and the credit for it should goes to Prabhas.(more)

Prabhas steals the show with his awe-inspiring persona

There's hardly any plot, the fight scenes are over-the-top and lengthy, the climax is a bit predictable, and youve got to be ready for a marathon viewing experience as the run-time is on the higher side. But Rajamoulis grip of the visual medium overcomes these faults and with the help of the technical wizardry Peter Heynes choreographing the stunts, Kamalakannan supervising the VFX, Senthil Kumar behind the sublime camera work, Keeravani composing the music and Madan Karky penning the dialogues, Baahubali 2 is worth a watch for the eye-candy.
