Star-cast

While KKPK is a much hyped movie as it marks the debut of the very popular TV host and comedian Kapil Sharma, Calendar Girls has not star value as such as all the five lead actresses are unknown faces and making their debuts with this film. KKPK also stars known faces like Elli Avram, Simran Kaur Mundi, ManjariFadnis, Varun Sharma and Arbaaz Khan.

Mood

On one hand we have a romantic comedy of errors in KKPK and on the other hand a very serious reality-drama about the glamour industry and how it deals with success, greed and scandals.

Story

The story of KKPH involves a middle-class man called SRK i.e. Shiv Ram Kishan (Kapil) and his comedy of errors, complications and loads of confusions arising out of his three marriages and an affair outside them. How he manages his three households and his secret love interest is the major plot of the film. Calendar Girls tells the story of five models who hail from different regions of India, and who have been selected to pose for the country's most high-profile calendar.

Director

Both directors have proved their worth time again. While Abbas-Mustan who are famous for their crime-thrillers, are experimenting with a comedy film, National award winning director MadhurBhandarkar sticks to his favorite genre in Calendar Girls.

Audience

KKPH appeals to family audiences, majorly those who tune into Comedy Nights with Kapil every Sunday and watch the show together. On the other hand, Calendar Girls’s audience is a typical MadhurBhandarkar audience which doesn’t mind seeing some bold scenes.

In all, both the movies are average but  KKPK stands out of the two because of Kapil Sharma presence and he’s become a big name in every domestic household in India and people just love him.
