Thala 56 is in final stage of shoot 

Ajith's upcoming film with 'Siruthai' Siva, popularly referred to as Thala 56, went on floors in Chennai on May 7. The movie's shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. The team will be starting their last schedule of talkie portions soon. Meanwhile, 'Thala 56' is doing red hot business in the trade. All the area rights of the movie has been sold out. The makers are planning to announce the title of the movie soon with a press meet. The announcement is expected to be made around September 17.

Shruti Haasan plays a lawyer in the film and Ajith will be seen playing a role of taxi driver in the movie. Soori has been roped in to provide the comic relief, while Anirudh is scoring the music. The movie is produced by AM Ratnam's Sri Sai Ram Creations.
