ABCD2 is the highest opening weekend grosser of 2015

ABCD2 directed by Remo D'Souza hit the screens last Friday. Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhudheva play the lead roles. The film which opened to mixed reviews has been doing very good business at the Box Office.

ABCD2 now hold the record for the highest opening day and opening weekend collection this year. The film raked in Rs. 14.30 crore on its opening day beating the record of Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar is Back which collected around Rs. 13.05 crore on its opening day. The film's business over the weekend has been phenomenal.

The film has minted Rs. 46.35 crore in its opening weekend. Earlier Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar is Back held the record for highest opening weekend collection this year. The film had collected Rs. 39.41 cr.

Friday – Rs. 14.30 cr

Saturday – Rs. 14.54 cr

Sunday – Rs. 17.51 cr

Total – Rs. 46.35 cr

The collections showed upward trend over the weekend.
