Tabu replaces Rekha in Fitoor

Legendary actress Rekha was roped in to play the pivotal role of Miss Havisham in Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming film Fitoor. The film is an adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations. In a bizarre turn of events, it is now learnt that Tabu has replaced Rekha in Fitoor.

Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif play the lead roles in Fitoor. Many were very excited to see Rekha on silver screen yet again. Film critic, Rajeev Masand tweeted that Tabu has replaced Rekha in Fitoor.

Fitoor had just wrapped up its shooting schedule. Earlier it was heard that after seeing her final rushes, Rekha wanted to re-shoot her scenes. And that they even reshot a sequence in Mumbai. Now we hear that the actress has been swapped with Tabu, who was also a choice for the role initially.
