Bombay Velvet bombs at the Box Office

Bombay Velvet one of the most hyped film which released last Friday has failed to set the Box Office on fire. The film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in the lead roles is directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film received mixed to negative reviews. 

The film made on a budget of around Rs. 120 crore managed to collected only Rs. 5.20 crore on its opening day. The film has recorded the lowest collection for a Ranbir Kapoor film ever. Even Besharam, the last rejected film of Ranbir Kapoor, had managed over 21 crore on its opening day. The opening weekend collection of the film did not even match up to the opening day collection of Besharam. 

Bombay Velvet released in around 2600 screens in India. The film has collected only Rs. 16.10 cr in its opening weekend. The film has turned out to be a big disaster at the Box Office.
