Aamir Khan gains weight for Dangal
Aamir Khan after the blockbuster success is all gearing up for the shoot of his next film "Dangal". The actor had launched the DVD of PK yesterday at an event in Mumbai.
During the launch event when questioned about his new film Dangal, he said, "When I was shooting for PK, I weighed 68 kilos with 9 percent body fat. I now weigh 90 kgs."
Aamir, who plays a wrestler in Dangal, has turned vegetarian for the film. "I have become totally veg for this role and even eggs are a strict no no. Right now, I am learning wrestling and Haryanvi, and putting on weight. So, you can say I am in full prep mode," he added.
The film is expected to go on floors in few months. "There are still three months before we start shooting for the film. Right now we are still casting for it," said the actor.
Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari‘s Dangal is a biopic on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. The makers are still on the lookout for actresses to play his daughters.
