Haider nominated for 9th Asian Film Awards

Haider starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu, Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan was directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Haider was critically acclaimed by critics as well as the audience. Shahid Kapoor garnered appreciation from all quarters for his portrayal of Haider in the film.

"Haider" has bagged three nominations at the 9th Asian Film Festival. The film will compete for Best Film, Best Director and Best Production Designer.

The Asian Film Awards are presented annually by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society to recognize the excellence of the film professionals in the film industries of Asian cinema. The winners will be revealed on 25 March in Macau's Venetian Theatre. A panel of 14 members headed by the director-producer Mabel Cheung will announce the winner.
