There are significant differences in the reach and target audience for these videos teaser and trailer apart from the similarity that the producer AM Ratnam, being an ardent Saibaba devotee, ensured that both released on a Thursday.

- The first teaser cut was solely to highlight and project Ajith. The teaser was universally appreciated for its razor-sharp focus and messaging.
