Tevar Preview: 5 reasons to watch the film

Bollywood is opening its box office account with Boney Kapoor's Tevar this weekend. Starring Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor this south remake looks promising from the trailers. We give you five reasons why this film should be your first tryst with the movies this year:

1. South remakes

Very little can go wrong with a south remake in Hindi, especially one that stars Sonakshi in it. A remake of the Telugu 2003 super hit Okkadu Tevar has all the right masala needed for a fun time in the theatres.

2. Sonakshi Sinha

She has lost oodles of weight, looks like a million bucks and is fresh from the success of Lingaa. In Tevar we see her in  new avataar that already is a hit. From the looks of it Sona will put the dreadful Action Jackson behind her for all of us with this one.

3. Arjun Kapoor

The latest blue eyed boy of the industry Arjun Kapoor in Tevar is seen in a rugged macho role. He dances like a dream and packs a punch or two in the action sequences. What more do we want ?

4. Manoj Bajpayee

After 'Gangs of Wasseypur' we get to see this maverick actor as a villain in Tevar. A rustic character from the looks of it Manoj is sure to bring a lot of chutzpah to the role immortalized by Prakash Raj in the original.

5. Music

The 'Salman Ka Fan' ditty is already an anthem so is the lets celebrate track. High on beats and energy Tevar has a winning sound track by Sajid Wajid which also is picturised lavishly.
