Ugly Opening Weekend Box Office Collection

Ugly directed by Anurag Kashyap hit the screens on December 26. Ugly opened poorly at the box office while Aamir Khan's PK, now in its second week, is still going strong. The film fetched raving reviews from the critics but it failed to bring the audience to the theatres. 

The film opening with with poor occupancy of 5-10% on its opening day. The occupancy was better with positive word of mouth. Film registered 40% occupancy at some multiplexes though overall scenario did not change much.

The film which released in only around 440 screens has managed to collect Rs. 1.70 cr in its opening weekend.
