PK crosses 100 crore mark

Aamir Khan starrer PK which hit the screens on December 19, has crossed the magical figure of Rs. 100 crore on its fourth day. The film had grossed Rs. 95.21 crore in its opening weekend. It had crossed the coveted 100 crore mark yesterday. The film had made phenomenal collection over the weekend in both domestic and overseas market. The strong positive word of mouth has worked in favour of the film and has set the cash registers ringing.

Aamir's 4th 100 crore film

PK is Aamir Khan fourth film to have crossed the 100 crore mark after Ghajini, 3 Idiots and Dhoom3. Ghajini was India's first ever Rs 100 crore film that started a new trend. 3 Idiots took 9 days to achieve this feat but it was the first film to enter the Rs. 200 crore club as well. Dhoom 3 is one of the fastest film to cross the 100 crore mark in 3 days.
