Alone Trailer Review

After a very dismal year, Bipasha Basu is back with another experimental horror flick called ‘Alone’ where she plays a dual role of Siamese twins named Anjana & Sanjana. It seems like Bipasha wants to establish herself as the horror goddess but is far from it with her previous attempts like ‘Creature’ & ‘Aatma’ being an epic failure. 

However, Alone has its share of scary moments maybe because of its borrowed inspiration from the Thai film of the same name. Going by the trailer, it is a story of a separated twin who haunts the other one and her boyfriend. Will they be able to overcome this spooky sister and if yes, how, is the mystery! 

Alone tries too hard to horrify you but its special effects may prove to be the failing point. The VFX is not the best work we have seen. The steamy love-making scenes will surely draw great attention but will also draw away attention from the film’s fright if any.  

Karan Singh Grover, the yesteryear hot TV star makes his debut with this film. Apart his gyming abilities and the love-making sequences, he looks decent with the few dialogues shown from the promo. Bollywood has been waiting long for its share of goose-bumps and we hope the 1920 director Bushan Patel will bring the same.
