Aamir Khan promotes PK in Bihar and Varnasi

Aamir Khan starts his multi-city promotional tour for PK on Saturady. He began the film promotions from Bihar as his character in the film speaks Bhojpuri, a language widely spoken in the state.

“I have decided to launch the promotional campaign of my film ‘PK’ from Bihar to connect with the language. My character speaks Bhojpuri in the film,” he told media here.

Khan, however, regretted not visiting Bhojpur district, about 60 km from here, for the launch. “My desire was to begin the promotion of ‘PK’ from Bhojpur in honour of the Bhojpuri language but due to security reasons we are not going there,” he said.

Aamir Khan reached Varanasi on Sunday along with PK's producers, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, for the film's promotion. A screening of his previous hit 3 Idiots was organised at a city multiplex on the occasion.

While talking to a gathering, Amir said that he wished Prime Minister and Varanasi MP Narendra Modi would watch PK. "Although he is busy with work, I wish he watches this movie," he said.
