Kaaki Sattai races ahead of Yennai Arindhaal 

While everybody is closely watching Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal and debating whether it will take on Shankar's mega-budget "Ai" for the upcoming Pongal, Shiva Karthikeyan may indeed spring a surprise to fans and distributors by getting ready for Christmas, ahead of Yennai Arindhaal. Both the teams are working day and night at tremendous pace to get ready for release in another 3 weeks, with music release happening only next week. 

Katti Sattai is eyeing for a December release

Even after having two big trending names Anirudh and Sivakarthikeyan, it is counter-intuitive to note why the makers are keen on releasing Kaaki Sattai in such short notice without capitalizing on Anirudh's music and time necessary for promotions.  It is believed that the movie is targeted for release on December 25 and the producers Escape Artists are considering to push out Prabhu Salomon's Kayal.

Reason for Kaaki Sattai's urgency

The recent developments have led to a number of speculations in the industry. Kaaki Sattai's hectic pace to get ready within the next 3 weeks has led to number of questions. Kaaki Sattai's plan is to release ahead of Yennai Arindhaal, as they both are cop movies and comparisons would be obvious.  The movie's release date is expected to be announced as part of the audio release next week.
