Vaalu Postponed
Silambarasan had no new movie releases for the past two years. His last film Poda Podi hit the screens in November 2012. The makers had a plan to release Vaalu on December 24 for Christmas. However the team had postponed the release date again as the makers wanted to release the movie on Feb 3 2015, on the occasion of Simbu's birthday. Producer SS Chakkravarthy has tweeted

The movie starring Simbhu, Hansika and Santhanam in the lead roles is directed by Vijay Chandar. Thaman has scored the music. The movie is produced by Nic Arts S.S Chakaravarthy. Simbhu's upcoming movies are Vaalu, Idhu Namma Aalu, a movie with Gautham Vasudev Menon and a movie with Selvaraghavan.
